Berlin Hauptbahnhof

This station is the main railway station in Berlin and the largest crossing station in Europe. About 1100 trains (city, regional and long-distance) depart daily from one of the 14 platforms. It’s one stop with metro line U5 to the Bundestag (national parliament) and two stops to the Brandenburger Tor. The S-bahn (S3,S5,S75) goes along Station Friedrichstrasse (1 stop), Station Alexanderplatz (3 stops) and Ostbahnhof (5 stops). Airport bus line TXL runs between Tegel Airport via Hauptbahnhof to Alexanderplatz. With the Airport Express trains (RE7 and RB14), it takes 28 minutes from Hauptbahnhof to Schoenefeld airport.




Berlin Friedrichstrassee train station

This train station is located in the center of Berlin. The Brandenburger Tor, Reichstag (german parliament), Museum Island and the Unter den Linden boulevard are all within 10 minutes walking. It’s one stop with the S-bahn to Hauptbahnhof (S3,S5,S75). Along the station (direction Museum Island) are many small restaurants with terraces. If you like to stay in the heart of Berlin this area is a very good choice.

Alexanderplatz Station

Busy train station next to the Alexanderplatz square and the television tower. S-bahn- (S3,S5,S75) and regional trains (RE1,2,7 and 14) to Hauptbahnhof. Metro lines U2 (to Potsdamer Platz), U5 and U8. Airport bus line TXL runs via Hauptbahnhof to Tegel Airport.

Potsdamer Platz Station

Regional trains (RE3, RE4 and RE5) to Hauptbahnhof. U2 metro line to Alexanderplatz Station.

Berlin Ostbahnhof (East railway station)
S-bahn- (S3,S5,S75) and regional trains depart from this station.

Spandau train station
Located in West-Berlin. Express train services to Hanover and Hamburg. S-bahn trains (S3 and S75) connect Spandau with the Hauptbahnhof. Metro line U7 starts at Spandau and is running along both airports in Berlin. The U7 has a stop at Jacob-Kaiser Platz (stop 8); from here are buses to Tegel Airport. The terminus station of the U7 is Rudow. Rudow is close to Berlin-Schoenefeld Airport. From Rudow, buses are running to the airport.
