Alexanderplatz is a large square and transportation hub in the central Mitte district of Berlin. In the past it was the centre of East Berlin. Television tower
The television tower is 3 minutes walking from the Alexanderplat. It’s one of the tallest buildings in Europe (368m). A limited number of visitors is allowed on top of the tower. If you don’t want to wait you should buy a ticket in advance on the internet.
