Brandenburg International Airport

Brandenburg International Airport is a new airport. It’s 18 km from the city center of Berlin. The new airport is still under construction. It was planned to open in 2010 but it opened in 2020.




Tegel Airport

Tegel Airport is in the northwest of Berlin, 8 km from the center. It is still the main airport in Berlin with intercontinental flights. There is not a train or underground to the airport. The TXL JetExpressBus goes to Central Station. The journey takes 25 minutes to Central Station and 37 minutes to Alexanderplatz. A taxi to the center of West Berlin is €15; to the center of East Berlin is a bit more.

Berlin-Schoenefeld Airport

Schoenefeld Airport is located in the southeast of Berlin, 18 km from the city center. Low-budget airlines often use Schoenefeld as their home base. The Airport Express train is 28 minutes from the airport to Hauptbahnhof. Express bus SXF1 connects the airport with Südkreuz station.
