    Tegel Airport
    Tegel Airport is situated in the northwest of Berlin, 8km from the city centre. It's the main airport in Berlin with the intercontinental flights. 14.2 million passengers departed from Tegel in 2009.

    There is no direct train or metro line to the airport. The express bus TXL connects the airport to the main train station (Hauptbahnhof), Brandenburger Tor, Unter den Linden and Alexanderplatz. Travel time is 20 minutes to Hauptbahnhof and 37 minutes to Alexanderplatz which is the end of the bus line. Fare is €2.10
    A taxi to the city centre West is about €15; to the city centre East about €18.

    Berlin-Schoenefeld Airport
    Schoenefeld Airport is situated in the southeast of Berlin, 18km from the city centre. Low-budget airlines often use Schoenefeld as their departure airport. In 2009, Schoenefeld had 6.8 million passengers.

    With the Airport Express trains (RE7 and RB14), it takes 28 minutes from the airport to Hauptbahnhof.
    Express bus SXF1 connect the airport with Station Sudkreuz. At Sudkreuz Station, regional trains and S-bahns are running to Potsdamer Platz and Hauptbahnhof.
    A taxi to the city centre West/East is about €25.
